Within the next 4-6 weeks Manchester will have the first FA Affiliated womens 5 A side League. All games will be played at the Soccer Zone Arena in Whitefield the venue is located @junction 17 of the M60 the league is open to teams from all over the Manchester area. When Do We Play? All games will be played on Wednesday evenings initially but if there is the demand extra divisions may be added on different nights. Initially we are looking for two divisions of 8 teams . Age Limit 14 + Surface All games will be played on the latest 3 g surface as used at all the Premier League training academies. Individuals or Teams?? There will be quite a few women out there who dont have a team but still want to be involved before the league starts we will hold taster evenings where people can come along and form their own teams. Rules/General Each team will play one 40 minute game per week and after initial grading games teams will play each other twice.We will award trophies for winners and runners up and also Golden Boots and Sporting awards .
